Overview
The Falling Man Rock Art Site is a fascinating petroglyph gallery that has seen many visitors over the years. There are some 13 major panels to see along the regular Falling Man Trail, but there are many petroglyphs off the beaten trail. Hikers are encouraged to carefully wander among the crags and explore the area.
One petroglyph not seen on the regular Falling Man Trail is an atlatl, spear-throwing technology that predated the bow and arrow.
Note that Native Americans applied red paint to some of their Rock Stories. It is illegal to add any more or otherwise mark the petroglyphs. |
